“Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence” – Robert Fripp
Sshhhhh………did you hear that? It’s the sound of a thousand scripts winging their way to Hollywood…

Wow! Fascinating! I’m sure you are correct about the scripts thing! LOL.

Do you think Tim Roth would reprise this role?

Another psychic connection on the go again today hey? I saw this report early this morning and thought exactly the same thing about the book/movie deal … oh dear.

i had a sudden vision of Bill Murray playing the piano man–he’s so expressive without having to say anything, & it would save the film from being an overindulgent oscar-eyeing tearjerker.
although i’d probably cry at the end.
if there is an end, of course. what if they never find out who he is?

This was all over the radio on Monday morning. Although the psychologists who examined him believed him to be genuine, there is speculation that this is a hoax, perpetrated to promote a movie!
If it is, that’ll be another ray of inspiration dashed. It it’s real, it should be discovered soon since the publicity is going worldwide and it’s unlikely such a gifted pianist wouldn’t be known. At the moment he hasn’t spoken, but has nodded, and he hasn’t written, but has drawn (a piano).
And if it is real, his story will undoubtedly be made into a movie – how could they not?

If they do make a film it’ll be Tom Hanks trying for another oscar.
Unless it is all a hoaz, and the piano man is promoting his own script…

I’m sure you’ve heard by now – he’s been identified, apparently!

On his own site, Fripp has;
‘Music is the cup which holds the wine of silence.’
